    King Fahd airport manager- we are looking forward to cooperate with the business sector to attract international companies
             Manager of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam Turki bin Abdullah Aljawini has urged the businessmen in the eastern region to invest in the airport through the available channels as it contributes in raising the level of performance of this important vital sector.
    During the Tuesday monthly meeting, which was held on the evening of Tuesday, May 3, 2016 Headquarters in Asharqia Chamber and was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber Mohammed bin Saad Al Faraj and members of the Board of Directors, Aljawini said that the airport administration is opened to everyone and receive ideas that will updated improvement in its services, pointing that the administration of the airport has achieved a significant progress in many of the services through direct communication with its clients or through official accounts on social networking sites, which are the essential channels for measuring public satisfaction with our services and knowing their vision of development.
    During the meeting, managed by Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al wabel and witnessed a crowd Aljawini that the airport administration has received many working committees in the economic and commercial sector, where current projects, future plans, and investment opportunities in air cargo village have been reviewed .
    The airport receives - as a matter of responsibility the social and voluntary committees in the region in order to achieve communication with the members of society and implementing what makes it easier for them to deal with the airport facilities.
    Aljawini pointed that the airport was able in a simple time to improve many services and shorten some of the procedures that contribute to achieve flexibility in performance and this resulted in  shortening time of 119 minutes for the traveler 2012 back and forth to 71 minutes in 2015.
    Aljawini  explained that King Fahd International Airport was able to gain two international awards from the World Council of airports (ACI) the first is for the best developed airport in the Middle East, and the second third best airport in the Middle East.
    Also he stressed that the airport has witnessed a remarkable improvement in services and a quantum leap in the level of performance but in steady and careful steps, noting that the airport building embraces the most famous restaurants and cafes that aims to entertain the passenger during the waiting flight time, as it witnessed building a hotel with  international standards that consists of 250 rooms occupied and operated by international Hilton hotels company and will be opened by the end of 2016.
    Aljawini said that the airport is seeking to achieve the goal of receiving 21 million passengers during 2020 through a variety of projects, including increasing the bridges of passengers and increasing the number of carrier buses for passengers, pointing that King Fahd Airport is looking forward to cooperate with the business sector in the eastern region to attract major international companies in order to raise the quality of the aviation industry in the region. In conclusion Al Faraj has honored the guest of the meeting Aljawini with a memorial shield.
